Little Lambs

One cold day during Spring Break, I took the kids to my friend's farm to see the baby lambs. There were about 20 babies, four of which were born the night before to a very happy mom!! The babies were so cute. Kaden didn't like the lambs at first, but warmed up after awhile. Logan and Meagan liked to chase the mommy lambs around the field, but I put a quick stop to that---those poor moms trying to out run wild kids while being pregnant. And Jessie and Jason, my great helpers, had fun keeping track of the lamb that we had outside the fence. Meagan holding the lamb while Jessie, Logan and Jason are around her. Kaden finally warming up to the lamb. Kaden really warming up and chasing the lamb so he can pet it.

My Little Helper

So the other morning I didn't get the Grape-nuts put in the child proof cupboard before Kaden found them. He brought me the box with his hand reaching inside grabbing a handful of grape-nuts. Before I could get to him, he quickly pulled his hand out of the box and tried to shove all the grape-nuts into his mouth so I couldn't take them away. But unfortunately, only a few made it into his mouth. The rest fell all over the floor. Kaden looked at me and then at the mess he just made and went directly over to get the broom. I thought it was really cute that he would try to clean up his own mess. I guess he is learning something---now only if he will keep it up when he is a teenager.

Well, I am trying to figure out how all this blogging works. I have started a new blog and as I learn how it works, please be patient with me. This is just a random picture of Jessie, Kaden and Brenna. I love Kaden's smile. Whenever the camera is out, he is there waiting with a bright smile on his face.
